Traben Family Adventures: Bye Bye Baseball....

Well, baseball season for the Traben boys is officially over this year. All 3 boys were on winning teams this season. Isaiah and Oliver both had teams that came in 1st place for the season, and Jeremy's team came in 3rd. All 3 boys made it very far into the playoffs. Isaiah and Oliver's team made it to the Final Championship Game in fact. But, sadly, the boys' teams lost in the finals and Championship games. We had some tears and sadness that week, but the boys had a great season, and improved on their baseball skills. Oliver hit very well and received the award of "Rookie of the Year" from his coaches. Jeremy pitched 2 innings in his last game, and did pretty well in pitching overall. Isaiah was able to gain some more confidence with some of the tougher pitchers and improved his fielding skills a lot. Mom and Dad are just happy to have our nights and weekends back...no more baseball games and practices that we have to rush off to! So, goodbye to the Red Sox (Isaiah's team), the Lugnuts (Jeremy's team) and the Dodgers (Oliver's team). We had a great season and had a lot of fun!

This summer has been so busy for the 3 boys. Along with baseball, they also did Baseball Camp, Basketball Camp, Tennis Camp and Swim Lessons (which they all 3 passed last week to go into a higher level). And, did I mention that Isaiah (and Ken!)ran a 5K last weekend? This was his 1st big race and he did it in 30 minutes. He looks forward to doing another one soon. And, Jeremy completed 2 weeks of Football camp and is looking forward to a great football season coming up soon here.
